I had the skins, they won by 3, but the spread was 3. That's a push. In the case of a push, no confidence points are earned by anyone for that game.

I had assigned 1 confidence point for this game, so in essence I did the best I possibily could have under the circumstances.

Is everything
looks like Lex and I are tied for the lead now - I only had 1 confidence point on that game too.

This is the beauty of this style of game. You've got the spread involved, and the confidence factor.

I'll bet the Cards every week, but some weeks I'll assign a low confidence rating.

If I'm not mistaken, the Cards usually do well against the spread, since the people that set the line, take into consideration the low expectations of the general public, thus the line gets skewed to entice action on the game.

During the season, if you find yourself behind by a large margin, you can take chances on lonshot wins, and catch up fast...if you're right.

I had a confidence factor 0f 8 last night.
I actually have the Cards as my lock of the week - they will cover (and win!!).

Looks like Card Trader, Krang and az1965 are the only ones of the 50 signed up not to make their picks - pretty good turnout!

This will be our official pick'em contest. Various ASFN prizes will be given out.

Alan/Mods:

Are we going to be doing an ASFN Pickem league again in 2004? It was set up by August 13 last year, and I've been expecting an announcement any day now.

Unfinished business, for some of us (40YearFan, I'm looking at you). ;)

I have just created an ASFN league and, all the settings are tentative at this time....

Here's the info:

Link: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem/19408
Group ID#: 19408
League:
ASFN Pickem
Password: Fitz

Have 49 more slots to fill, and I'm certain we'll exceed that total quickly....

KLL:

Make that 48 slots. And be sure to remove the Group ID 19408 from the above link, or you'll get an error.
