The Dogwood Masters Classic and USRowing Southeast Masters Championships are parterning to bring the the Dogwood Masters Classic Regatta to Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge this Saturday, May 30.
The regatta will be held 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The regatta brings together experienced masters athletes from across the Southeast and beyond for spirited competition, camaraderie, and celebration of lifelong rowing. Rowers ranging in age and experience will compete in a full slate of sculling and sweep events, including singles, doubles, pairs, fours and eights, according to a news release.
The Oak Ridge Rowing Association welcomes USRowing as a partner for the 2026 Dogwood Masters Regatta. USRowing is also conducting a high-touch training camp in Oak Ridge in the days before the Dogwood Masters. The well-established regatta will serve as the USRowing Southeast Masters Championships partner event.
The regatta is expected to bring 350 people to Oak Ridge, according to the release. For more information, go to the website, www.orra.org.
