OAK GROVE, La. — For the second year in a row, Oak Grove's Caroline Bradley has been selected as the Gatorade Louisiana Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
Bradley, the Lady Tigers' 6-foot-5 center and ESPN's No. 3-ranked player in the Class of 2027, averaged 27.0 points, 16.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 3.4 blocks and 1.4 steals per game last season. Oak Grove appeared in Marsh Madness in each of the last two seasons, finishing as LHSAA runners-up in 2025. Bradley totaled 29 points and 20 rebounds in the Lady Tigers' semifinal loss to Westlake earlier this month.
Five-peat complete: Wossman girls basketball defeats LaGrange in D-II NS championship
Bradley succeeds even more throughout the community and inside the classroom with a 4.11 GPA.
She's now the sixth girls basketball player in Louisiana history to take home Gatorade Player of the Year honors in multiple seasons, joining Capitol's Seimone Augustus (2001-02), West Monroe's Whitney Jones (2005-06), Vandebilt Catholic's Theresa Plaisance (2009-10), Destrehan's Cara Ursin (2015-17) and Parkway's Mikaylah Williams (2022-23).
