Since 2009 when Notre Dame football started its Shamrock Series, the Irish have played games in places like New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas.

This coming season will see the Irish travel to historic Lambeau Field to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in the season opener on Sep. 6th, with a primetime kickoff. Every year the logo has changed, along with the uniforms, and on Thursday, Notre Dame shared the logo for this seasons contest.

It’s simple, yet elegant, highlights Lambeau and the opposing Badgers. Could this be a bit of a preview of what the jersey combination will look like? It very well could be, as we’ve seen some fantastic choices over the years.

This game is unique compared to the others, as Notre Dame will start off the season with a big bang. The Irish should be favored in this one, as Wisconsin is coming off a 2-7 season and expectations aren’t very high in Madison.

Check out below the logo video, as we are all dreaming about how this coming campaign will turn out for Notre Dame.
