Looks like there could be a shakeup at the running back spot for the Cardinals. While JJ Arrington is running No. 1 and should be the featured back, a couple of newcomers could take the second and third spots on the depth chart. Former Hurricane and Cleveland Brown James Jackson has looked good in the first few days of camp and former Sun Devil J.R. Redmond, despite two fumbles in the past two days, has impressed Dennis Green with his versatility. If those two players continue to produce it could mean the end of the road for Josh Scobey and Damien Anderson. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/

All other things being equal (including the fumbling issue) you keep the guys who have the most mileage left on their legs and bodies.

The dust won't settle for at least two more weeks, then will start getting a better picture of who might stay.

It will be very interesting because I was amazed at how fast both Croom and Anderson were hitting the holes at camp.

Don't underestimate Croom. He can play and will make this roster. He is a hard nosed runner who isnt afraid of contact and you can never have too many of them. If he can prove he can play ST he will be just fine!

I agree. I was touting him last summer after seeing him at camp, but when he actually got some action in games, he was nothing more than a slow Thomas Jones-esque dancer behind the line of scrimmage.

I saw Jackson play some when he was at Cleveland.

He's an upgrade of course over last year. Anderson will need to turn it up a notch.

If it comes down to Anderson vs. Scobes for the final spot, Scobes will win because he is a decent returner; even though there is a lot of competition at the returner spots. If Croom makes the team I might just go buy his family a round of ice cream cones.

Anderson's onbly fknock is durability as he is small to take the pounding every down.

As a 3rd string backup that isn't an issue

Not that the opinion of a U of Miami fan is not biased, but...... I really think James Jackson is the real deal and could push both Arrington and Shipp. He came out as a 3rd rounder to Cleveland and that place was a mess. Their 1st rounder William watzzizname flopped in that system.

I really do think that Jackson will easily make the roster and contribute a whole lot. At Miami he had to share time with McGahee, Portis ,Davenport and still managed big numbers.

As long as he doesn't wind up in jail like most of the hooligans from U of Miami.
