Recruiting:
FSU has added three-star LB CJ Ohuabunwa from Norcross, Georgia and could receive more good news very soon. Production and character is headed to Florida State:
Ohuabunwa had a very productive junior campaign, racking up 124 tackles (eight for loss), four pass breakups, two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and a safety. His film shows a quick trigger in diagnosing plays, good coverage skills, and good pursuit angles. He sports a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and has above average leadership potential at the next level. Certainly a great person to have in the locker room for culture.
FSU is also in a good position for three-star edge rusher Stevan Thornton III who could commit any day now and in a really good position for four-star Under-Armour All-American defensive lineman Sam LeJeune. LeJeune commits Wednesday at 5:30pm.
4-star DL Sam LeJeune is down to Cal, FSU and Washington with a commitment date now locked in.

This was kind of surprising; according to CBSSports FSU’s defense ranks 16th in the country in returning production and 23rd in the country in returning defensive efficiency.
Several teams stand out for getting much more out of their playing time than their snap counts would suggest. Florida State and Mississippi State are both top 16 nationally in total tackles despite ranking outside the top 35 in defensive snaps. Louisville shows the biggest gap in pressures, checking in 17th in the FBS despite ranking 62nd in total pass rush snaps. Credit Clev Lubin for that — he owns the second-best pressure rate (22.9%) among the 435 returning defensive players with at least 200 career pass rush snaps in the FBS.
All Sports:
Summer practice is underway for FSU hoops; FSU’s new-look roster will practice four times per week for two hours each time as FSU is allowed 8-hours of organized team activities per week during the summer.
“I’m really excited about year two. I think we finished the season in a way we have some momentum going in. We kind of have our culture identified, the way we want to work identified, how we want to practice, all of that, and utimately, how we want to evaluate and bring in new talent. Overall, I feel really good about where we’re at,” said Loucks. “[Today was] super sloppy. I expected it to be super sloppy as we learn. But just from a talent, size ,and athleticism standpoint, I feel really good about this group.”
Coach Brooke discussed the changes in FSU’s culture as Women’s Hoops fights to get back to annual Sweet 16 contention:
