Same as Kansas as expected. Lol at death penalty.
You’re an attorney. You know that these are allegations and not proven facts. Also, much of this stems from Arizona not offering the results of the S&J internal investigation, so the NCAA is pissed at Arizona for not doing its job for them. In other words, the NCAA is throwing a lot of spaghetti against the wall and hoping it sticks. Two separate investigations have only found the Book pocketing $$$ claim to be true, with everything else lacking evidence.
In addition, one of those Level 1s was for the swimming scandal, for which Arizona tried to self-sanction. This thing is so stupid and it’s only going to prolong this nightmare for another year or two
I’m kinda thinking things are set up for Jason Terry here. By the time the appeals and everything are done he’ll have a year or two under his belt as an assistant. I don’t think he’s ready but it would be an easy transition given the circumstances.
Except they have Sean Miller on tape...multiple times, and the U of A has offered nothing to counter that evidence except an implausible denial of knowledge that runs counter to the tapes. If this were being litigated, this would be a slam dunk for the NCAA.
Our best hope is to jettison Miller and Heeke and hope the NCAA will allow us a fresh start with only a 1 or 2 year postseason ban and loss of scholarships, much like what happened with my other alma mater, Cal, and Todd Bozeman for similar violations.
On tape for what?
Alkins, Ayton, Bowen and Quinerly.
Im sure you have links to each of these conversations.
As a HC? Yeesh. Not sure about that.
I don't think the NCAA would flat-out lie about that...
The NCAA would literally have to have something the FBI never got for that to be remotely true. The FBI never released its tapes to the NCAA.
BTW - the alleged Ayton 100k conversation story has already been thoroughly debunked, so that puts into question any alleged phone conversation.
The recording played in Book's federal court trial seems like damning evidence
If you move the goal posts any further you’ll be on the tennis courts...
Optics =/= proof
If Book is lying he’s protecting Miller:
Atm no but maybe in two years. It would be a Juwan Howard type situation plus he’d know the personnel and already have recruiting ties.
One year postseason max. Maybe a couple scholarships or fines.
Separate names with a comma.
