No. 4 Georgia at No. 6 Auburn baseball TV schedule, prediction

The No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs (41-11, 21-6 SEC) play the No, 6 Auburn Tigers (35-16, 16-11 SEC) in the final SEC series of the regular season. Georgia has clinched the SEC regular season championship and a double bye in the SEC Tournament. The Bulldogs want to end the season on a high note and have not lost a road series in SEC play.

Georgia enters the Auburn series red hot. The Bulldogs have sweep their last two SEC opponents and have won nine straight games entering the series.

Auburn still has a lot to play for. The Tigers are hoping to secure a top-four seed in the SEC Tournament and a top-eight seed in the NCAA Tournament. Auburn is tied for fourth in the SEC standings, but their top rival, the Alabama Crimson Tide holds the tiebreaker, so if the season ended today, then Auburn would be the fifth seed in the SEC.

Before facing Georgia, Auburn lost a midweek road game 4-1 against No. 25 Jacksonville State. The Tigers are just a 1/2-game back from both Texas and Texas A&M for the No. 2 seed in the SEC, so Auburn's series against Georgia is critical for their SEC Tournament seeding.

We predict that Georgia will lose the series against Auburn with the Tigers winning two out of three games. We predict Georgia will win on Friday.
