With star Luke Hughes already out for the season, his brother Luke was injured in the third period of Game 1 of the New Jersey Devils series against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Hughes left the ice clutching his upper body has he headed to the tunnel. However, he was able to return later in the period.

Devils teammate Cody Glass was injured moments later as it appears goalie Jacob Markstrom accidently hit Glass with his stick.

Carolina went on to win, 4-1.
