NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Niles girls soccer dominated Akron Coventry, 8-0, in the first round of the 2025 OHSAA Division IV Sectionals at Niles McKinley High School Tuesday night.

The Red Dragons scored eight goals in the first half to force an early decision win. Junior Kherington Stanford scored four goals in the victory.
Also, Nile’s Maddie Yost scored twice and posted three assists. Red Dragon’s Cali Rodgers and Raleigha Burney each scored one goal.
Niles will play Ravenna Southeast Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at Niles McKinley.
