The Philadelphia 76ers have had a rollercoaster 2025-26 season as they sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. At the moment, they are in the Playoffs spots, which will help them avoid the Play-In Tournament.
With their most recent victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 76ers are finding the right form. Head coach Nick Nurse is glad his team is performing at this level because it is just in time for the postseason.
Nurse loves how the 76ers are playing right now
Playing against the Timberwolves is a challenge because they are one of the toughest teams in the Western Conference. The 76ers managed to get the win against them with a well-rounded performance from the 76ers.
They managed to limit Anthony Edwards to only an eight-point night, which is an impressive result for the 76ers' defense. However, Nurse was most proud of how his team played on the offensive end.

The 76ers' offense came alive during the game against the Timberwolves. It was a game that showed the 76ers' potential because, even though not one of their stars had a 30-point night, it showed the team's overall quality.
"I think we just started playing smarter offensively. We saw things that we could get to, and we executed them, freeing guys up. I think they played really good defense in the first half... We did an excellent job of doing everything we wanted to in the second half offensively," Nurse said after the win against Minnesota.
As the 76ers continue to play like this, they will be a dangerous team in the postseason. They are not assured of a spot in the Playoffs just yet, but if they end the season strong, they will be a scary team to play against in the postseason.
