The Boston Bruinsannounced late Friday morning that they'd made a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers, just hours ahead of the NHL Trade Deadline.
"The #NHLBruins have acquired forwards Alexis Gendron and Massimo Rizzo from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for forward Brett Harrison and defenseman Jackson Edward," the Bruins' official account posted on X.

Forwards Alexis Gendron and Massimo Rizzo are both minor-league hockey players, as are forward Brett Harrison and defenseman Jackson Edward.
The Bruins selected Harrison in the third round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
The 22-year-old posted 17 points via eight goals and nine assists across 46 games with the Providence Bruins this season.
The 22-year-old Edward was selected in the seventh round of the 2022 draft and appeared in nine contests with Providence during the 2025-26 campaign.
Rizzo was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the seventh round of the 2019 draft and played in 29 games with the ECHL's Reading Royals this season.
The 24-year-old had 22 points on six goals and 16 assists with the Royals this season.
The Flyers selected Gendron in the seventh round of the 2022 draft.
The 22-year-old had 22 points via 10 goals and 12 assists in 47 contests with the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season.
None of the quartet have appeared in an NHL game during their respective careers.
