Well, wide receiver Jalen Coker made the money and got the power on Thursday—as reports of a contract extension with the Carolina Panthers emerged. The deal, per Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer, is a three-year, $35 million pact worth up to $41 million.

Carolina has now locked up Coker, a heralded undrafted free-agent signing from 2024, through the 2029 campaign. And the timing, given his age (24 years old) and trajectory, may not have been better for the two sides—especially as he comes off a 134-yard performance from the team's near-upset of the Los Angeles Rams from January's wild-card round appearance.
