Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season kicks off with the Buffalo Bills visiting the Houston Texans in a Thursday Night Football showdown. Both teams are looking to position themselves in the AFC playoff picture, with the Bills 7-3 on the year and in second place in the AFC East while the Texans are 5-5 and in third place in the AFC South.

When it comes to the AFC playoff standings, the Bills are fifth, the top wild-card team in the conference. For Houston, they are currently eighth, the first team on the outside looking in.

Throughout the season, our contributors here at The Phinsider have made their straight-up winners picks for every game on the schedule. We continue that into Week 12 with our predictions for tonight’s game. Our picks below highlight the moneyline/straight-up winner, but we can also make picks against the spread and on the point total, if we choose. You can check out all of the predictions in the widget provided to us by Tallysight.

You can also join in with our new Community Picks section. Sign up and make your predictions. Since this is being introduced during the season, I do not have season-long stats, but we will see if the community can beat our contributors each week.
