Reality is this is probably short term pain for long term gain. Knowing that Darnold ain’t the guy clears the way for Minnesota not to make a major mistake for even one more year with an one year prove it if they were tempted to do so and can now move forward with McCarthy and a young, very talented offense.

you're not doing that either - we're going to stay with what you just said - which is we don't have dudes that can catch while referring to this game - yet we beat the rams this year and kyler actually threw for more yards than darnold when we faced the vikings
