Man oh man, does Sean Payton make a splash even after a season where his team got to and lost the AFC Championship game with a backup QB.
He fired three coaches, including the offensive coordinator. One of the coaches verbalized that he was fired because, "Sean was in a mood."
Then he threw his QB, Bo Nix, under the bus. He said he has a predisposition to ankle injuries, has had several ankle surgeries, and it is only a matter of when, not if, he will hurt an ankle going forward. Nix then held a press conference on his own and disputed what the coach had to say and was NOT happy. He feels that his future contract talks may be hurt because of what his coach told the media.
