For those who did not get this one on their dvr, now is your chance. Besides today, the NFL Network will show it again twice tomorrow, 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
Also, did not like Antre Rolle performance that much in that game.
We had lots of mis-tackles specially in 2nd half. We paid the price for that against the Saints. Also, did not like Antre Rolle performance that much in that game. On the other hand, we should have done our best to keep Karlos.
Even though you are a homer, that doesn't mean you still have to defend Rolle, he is not a Card anymore.I didn't see Rolle do much wrong watching again yesterday except for the OT overthrow. It was primarily, as you stated, a result of poor open field tackling.
Our DB would miss and the GB receiver was off to the races. It happened at least 4 times if I remember correctly. McFadden, Wilson, and DRC all were guilty. So unless Rolle was out of position every time allowing the WR to run untouched into the endzone after the first missed tackle I don't see how you can fault Rolle as much as many people do.
One other thing that is often overlooked is that the Defense wasn't playing very well in the first half either. If it hadn't been for the turnovers and GB stopping themselves the halftime score could easily have been reversed.

Yep you watch the first play of OT and how lucky we were Rodgers missed that throw and then you think maybe losing Antrell isn't as big a deal as some think?
He was so badly fooled on that play it was unreal. Better to be lucky than good by all rights they should have won that game on that play but Rodgers overthrew it.

I totally agree. Rodgers, as good...great as he's been, should have made that throw. It wasn't even close but if it was as well thrown as most of his other passes that day the Packers likely win the game. Just as they were all game, the secondary was beat on the play.by all rights they should have won that game on that play
In fairness:
the defensive play was made by Clark Haggans who put enough of a rush on Rogers that he had to pull the ball down, move his feet and throw in a bit of a hurry. Had Rogers been allowed to drop back and throw on rhythm-- the game ends differently.
