The NFL's free agency negotiating window opens today. Most of the big signings will happen within the first 72 hours, but a few budget deals will linger into the coming weeks. After the free agency mania dies down, attention will turn toward April's NFL draft.
Before the free agency frenzy kicks off, ESPN's Jordan Reid shared an updated two-round NFL mock draft. He has Denver selecting Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in the first round (he's certainly not alone with that prediction). "He would bring a diverse skill set to the Broncos' secondary, with his 20% defensive completion percentage allowed being the best among all FBS defensive backs last season," Reid wrote of McNeil-Warren.
In the second round of Reid's mock, Denver turns attention to the offensive side of the ball, adding another weapon for third-year quarterback Bo Nix. Reid has Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell landing with the Broncos.
"Brazzell is an 'X' receiver who can be a deep vertical threat, and he can also sink his weight and run a true route tree," Reid wrote on ESPN.com. Brazzell (6-4, 198 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.37 seconds at the NFL combine after hauling in 62 receptions for 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games with the Volunteers last fall.
The 2026 NFL draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25. After receiving two compensatory picks, Denver will hold nine selections this spring.
