ESPN's Chiefs insider Nate Taylor recently appeared on 96.5 The Fan to discuss the odds of free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill returning to Kansas City for the 2026 season.
"We know that Tyreek (Hill) is planning to play this upcoming season. You're going to get more updates on his health, given his rehab," Taylor said. "We know he's a diligent worker, so I don't think that's the issue. I don't want to be hyperbolic or over the top, but I think there's like more than a 50 percent chance that he's in a Chiefs uniform. I will put it at like 55 percent, maybe even 60."
The Miami Dolphins' release of Hill saved them $22.8 million against the salary cap, as the 32-year-old is recovering from a dislocated knee and torn ACL. During his 54 games with Miami, he collected 340 receptions, 4,733 receiving yards, and 28 total touchdowns.
Hill won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs and was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team as a punt returner while making Pro Bowls each season of his career in Kansas City.
