During a recent episode of 'The Rich Eisen Show,' Eisen shared his thoughts on the Kansas City Chiefs heading into the 2026 season—one of his points from the discussion centered around the lack of availability of wide receiver Rashee Rice.
"It's a simple question because everybody's wondering about the Kansas City Chiefs offense: can they be explosive or not? Once again, we just talked about the run game. Can they have that explosive passing game again? It all depends on if they can trust and count on Rashee Rice," said Eisen. "I mean, this guy has been nothing but a disappointment with his availability, and his Off-the-field decisions are a very light-touch way to put it with Rashee Rice. Can they get him on the field and keep him on the field, and will he be able to keep himself on the damn field? Because you got Xavier Worthy, you got Tyquan Thornton, and you got a whole bunch of guys in that receiver room that a lot of people have not heard of."
Rice missed voluntary offseason workouts and mandatory minicamp due to a jail sentence; he finished the 2025 season with 53 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 10.8 yards per reception after missing the first six games due to suspension last season.
