The Giants now have two top 10 picks in next week’s draft. Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence requested a trade after he couldn’t work put a new deal, and now he’s headed to Cincinnati. The Bengals have reportedly traded the No. 10 overall pick in this year’s draft for Lawrence. They have a new deal worked out with their new DT.

The Giants now have #5 and #10 in the first round and will be looking to put a new identity on the team that is now lead by head coach John Harbaugh. Joe Schoen is still the GM, but Harbaugh is expected to have a lot of control of the roster. Two top 10 picks, even in a “weak” draft class, can help to quickly turn around a franchise’s fortunes. The Giants finished fourth in the NFC East last season with a 4-13 record.

#Giants star Dexter Lawrence is being traded to the #Bengals in a pre-Draft blockbuster that includes the No. 10 pick heading to the Giants, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
