The length that you go is admirable, whew.

What lengths? There's nothing there that's not true. You just hate the franchise you're suppose to be a fan of.

You guys literally can't see anything positive. They could trade for Myles Garrett and people would find something not to like.

That’s impossible to know without watching the college QB’s for another year. Mendoza and facilities are why the Raiders are a moderately better job.
It's kind of fascinating how many on this board believe it is a universal thing that everyone likes Mendoza. Not calling you out, GAZ, because apparently most of the NFL world thinks the same. Maybe, just maybe, a coach could have a different opinion. We have absolutely no earthly idea.

I would think that if you’re trying to sell AZ to Kubiak, you better get him in for the interview before he goes to Vegas. Whoever interviews first has the opportunity to offer the job right then and he has the option of canceling the other interview.

Why would anyone do that?

You've done all the research and prep, and the other interview gives you leverage at the very least.

But mainly the Cards are travelling to him. Douche behavior to cancel.

Besides the fact that there ain't no world in which Monti uses the cap flexibility from the '27 and '28 KM cap savings this year. Just ain't gonna happen.

Have you seen Josh Sweats contract? Perfectly standard now to put most money in future years. Also FA sucks.

Are there not enough real complaints without made up ones?

IMO having more cap space is not a reason to pick one team over another. Teams know how to play the game and sign key players regardless of how much cap space they have. Happens all the time. Plus how many top players really make it to free agency. etc.etc.etc.

This is going to end up being very embarrassing for either the Cardinals or Raiders.
Not really, it they have a good backup plan and PR department they can just say they were dong their due diligence to interview Kubiak who just became available for 2nd interviews since his team is going to the Super Bowl. If the Cards sign LaFleur, most will be happy. I will. He may be better than Kubaik.

Just like Shark Tank! Once the investor constructs an offer, they want to know before you go down the road with another investor. In more times than not, the pitching company is looking for a particular partner and if that partner doesn't offer an investment, it is clear the who the second choice is.

They lost the Tennessee game because of 2-3 FLUKE plays on each side of the ball that there’s no way in hell you can blame the coaching staff for. Only Demarcado can be blamed for his blunder. And the interception late in the game that ended up being fumbled and turned into a TN touchdown I have never seen in the 60+ years watching this cursed franchise.

Your comment about the Cardinals being non-competitive when they started 2-5 couldn’t be more incorrect. Here are the early games:
@SF L 15-16
SEA L 20-23
TN L 21-22
@IN L 27-31
GB L 23-27
@DAL W 27-17

Those were hardly non competitive games & they had a TON of injuries in all of these games. And as the injuries mounted, only then did the games get non competitive, especially since most of those lopsided losses were against great teams…..SEA, SF, LAR twice, HOU. We even lost very competitive games against JAX & TB.

True that we didn’t run the ball well early, but we also had a new OL coach & the Saints & Panthers ended up having pretty good run defenses. And we did win both those games anyways. Once we were forced to play 3rd & 4th stringers, in addition to practice squad guys, there was NO WAY to turn off the spigot of losing.

Bidwill has zero idea of what he’s doing & his father was even worse. It doesn’t take an Einstein to know when there are circumstances like 2025 when you have to show patience. And that’s why the Cardinals have never had long term success.
The mere fact that they could lose to a horrid team like Tennessee on 2-3 fluke plays says a lot, no? Particularly at that point in the season.

I'm not sure if I trust the Cardinals to have a good backup plan, but if LaFleur is willing to wait until Kubiak has been interviewed and if one of those two guys is going to be the new coach, then it's a much better result than I was expecting at the start of this process! If they hire someone like Raheem Morris weeks after they could have given him the job putting him behind all the other new HCs in being able to build his coaching staff, then that's a total disaster waiting to happen at least on paper.

I think if I were considering our HC job, I would want to hear:

Long term we're better because although we have some pieces in place you'll still have a long runway to build the culture and roster you need to win. We understand we need to change some of our processes and you'll have a prominent role their development.

We're not expecting miracles in 2026 and we are 100% committed to supporting you long term. We want this to be a 15 year relationship.
Yes…I I heard geese fart under water.
