No one will care or even remember when we hired the coach in March. Y’all being crazy bored.
Except if the team sucks and our coordinators are bad and then you’ll mock the people defending the bad coordinators, reminding them we we’re the last team to get a coach and put together a staff.
Really? From the guy who coined and references "third choice GM"?
And bingo was his name-o!

Disagree. Drafting Kyler was the right move. As many have pointed out, the bad decision was extending him. Monti chose to move forward with him as well. That's on him.
In that sense Monti's hands were/are tied by that contract and likely Bidwill also He is a lot like his father penny pincher when it comes to money players and coaches

It is clear as day who the problem is. Monti

Why in the world does he still have a job. He has made poor decisions to get us to this place in our history due to draft picks coaching changes etc etc etc.

I have no faith in his decision making. Which was his worst 1st rd draft pick.

1. Paris Johnson rather than Will Anderson
2. Marvin Harrison rather than Malik Nabors
3. Walter Nolen rather than Jason Dart. You can pick anyone other than Walter Nolen at this point.

Do you have any faith that a new coach that is hired by Monti will do any better than Gannon?

Which of his choices in free agency and draft picks other than the first pick been a success.

Bidwill hired him, he should have fired him.

But that’s not going to have anything to do with whether we hired a coach on January 23rd, January 28, or February 12.

The pool of talented assistants is bottomless. It’s not a zero-sum game.

I’ll mock posters for defending bad coaches, but I’m not going to say it’s because we waited. We have nowhere near enough information about the candidates or the process. So people just vibing out here.

I guess we are now bringing in Klint Kubiak later this week for a second interview.

Something must have broken down in negotiations with Mike LeFleur. They need to get the deal done with Kubiak…If they could somehow walk away with him, I’d feel like we hit the jackpot.
He isn’t gonna pick us over the raiders and Mendoza plus $80 million to spend

FYI, he tagged himself here, but didn't post anything on his own X account that I can see.
Oh no, don’t f*** this up! Get LaFleur signed!

Sure, it is kind of strange to complain about which teams hire first, and yes, as I have said from the start, Weaver might be a blessing in disguise - Arians-style. However, I have preferred LaFleur all this time, and I don’t feel great about Kubiak.

Yeah that's not good...If Raiders go first, he's not leaving Las Vegas.
Well, technically they cannot hire him yet. He might have a very good idea of what to do, when he leaves them, but it would be stupid of him not to listen to the Cardinals before he signs anything. Or at least get a free meal.

Do people really care about a free meal when they make mega millions of dollars?

Right, they couldn’t formalize the deal, but he could have a handshake agreement with LV. I’m guessing Tom Brady wants Kubiak. And they have more to offer:

1. Mendoza
2. New stadium
3. More cap room

Michael has you right where he wants you
His family has for 48 years. This is no different and is but a day in the life of a Cardinals fan. Where else am I gonna go? You should actually edit that post to say ALL of us. Prisoners of war Cardinals fans are. If we get served gruel, we better eat it and like it.

It's not when you hire, but who you end up with. Three years ago Indy and the Cardinals waited until after the Super Bowl to sign Shane Stechen and Jonathan Gannon. Indy seems to have done okay; the Cardinals not so much.

No harm waiting for Kubiak IF you don't lose Lafleur. If you do, you get Anthony Weaver or Raheem Morris.

Monti Ossenfort is 15-36 in three years as Cardinals GM and will enter Year 4 with the longest odds in the NFL to win the Super Bowl. Pretty wild Mike Bidwill kept him on, especially with how bad the QB situation has been bungled.
Probably 17-51 after year 4. He is a GM who is not a General, nor is he a Manager. He's like Ernie the taxi driver in It's A Wonderful Life.

ALL about injuries. Indy looked like the best team in the NFL until they suffered a bunch of injuries and lost every game after week 10!

Only thing keeping me sane at the moment :p Expecting LaFleur but keeping 10% on standby for when we do a "Cardinals" thing

Ok I’ve officially upped it to 40%. Cardinals are going to potentially **** this up royally. Trying to be the cleverest in the room. I remember hearing how Monti was so detailed and played out every scenario meticulously… well he’s sh!te at it so far. Slow and his aggressive and speedy pursuits are something only seen in an old peoples home. Just look at last years FA for that
