We're the worst of 9 vacancies. No QB and an overall bad roster. Desirable candidates aren't coming here no matter what Monti or Bidwill do/say.

Whoever we get will have been rejected by multiple teams.

Promoting Petzing to HC would be the best possible scenario for the long term. Monti would get fired next Black Monday, if not sooner, we would be all but guaranteed a top 3 pick in the '27 draft for a QB, and the last of the Bidwill believers would show up to the stadium with pitchforks by week 8.

It's time for Drew's incompetence to work in our favor for once.

The only guy I like that I think is a possible (if he wants) because I haven't seen him heavily linked to any other job is Mike LeFleur.

I'm not interested in one of these DC's that I don't think offer anything over JG. I'm not in Vance Joseph or Mike McCarthy. On the defensive side the only guy I could like with is Saleh, who I think can be a good HC but had a dire situation at the Jets.

Otherwise I think we need an offensive guy. I'd be happy with Mike McDaniel because I think he can put a good staff together, but I think he will have interest from teams he considers better.
