Now this will be pretty speculative, but Campanile has ties to Packers’ OC Adam Stenavich, who is interviewing for other coordinator-jobs this cycle (he doesn’t call plays with the Packers, but they are willing to let him pursue that with other teams).

Stenavich is well versed in the Shanahan/LaFleur coaching system after having coached under both Kyle Shanahan and Matt LaFleur for nine years in total.

Campanile also has ties to Josh Grizzard, who these days has interviewed with the Eagles. Grizzard has been schooled first by Mike McDaniel (from the Shanahan-tree) and then Liam Coen (from the McVay-tree).

Frank Smith is probably my guess as Campanile's choice, and he has knowledge of the system through working with Mike McDaniel for many years in Miami.

Like I have said many times, Mike LaFleur is my favorit, but the point of this post is that regarding the offensive system, it might not be that much different whether they hire LaFleur or Campanile.

Havent heard of this dude. Why are we trusting a dude from North Carolina about the Arizona Cardinals head coaching recruitment process?

No excuse for Cards not to call McDermott now. Only three choices for him. Only positive the Raiders have over us is the #1 pick. Lousy owner but has means to pay more than others. Cards and Browns have ownership warts as well. All have roster needs in many areas except the Browns have a good defense. Odds are he will go elsewhere or take a year off.
That’s interesting. Would he opt to sit out a season rather than join a cardinals, raiders or browns?

Rea question - If Morris interviewed for our HC vacancy as well, which he did…Why would he be inclined to be our DC? Wouldn’t that be insulting?
Yeah, if you had a job

Why not? He is being paid a million a month for about 16 months. Let see, coach the cards, faders, or brownies, or watch from the couch.
