So the Ringer is the be all end all?

Why aren't they GMs then?
Have you heard his name mentioned once from any other source? Don't blame the Ringer here - he's a total off the reservation option. Could it work? Maybe, but let's not pretend like anyone had this guy on their radar.

There certainly is something interesting about Campanile. One thing to consider is that - according to an insider journalist - Grant Udinski might leave to go to a team where he would call plays (which he does not do in Jacksonville). Of course, he will interview for the Bills’ HC position, and is scheduled for his second HC interview with the Browns, but if he doesn’t get that, maybe Campanile would take him with him wherever he ends up.

By the way, if you have never heard about Udinski, along with Davis Webb (Broncos) and Declan Doyle (Bears) he is supposed to be the next offensive wizard.

I hadn't, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good choice. I don't have much faith in Monti or Bidwill, but the Ringer has McCarthy 6th and KK 7th, so not sure how much I would rely on their rankings.

I also don't get the Jesse Minter love or why he would be ranked by the Ringer 12 spots ahead.

Per media sources he's already interviewed with Miami and Baltimore for their head coaching position. He's considered an up and coming head coach, but he's only been a DC for one year, so the general opinion is that he needs another year or two of experience.

One aspect of BA’s tenure that often is overlooked is his insistence on having a great run defense. The Cardinals were either top or near the top in run defense during those terrific 2013-2015 years. His philosophy was simple: stop the run and a team becomes one dimensional on offense, thus easier to defend. The guy from Jacksonville just elevated the Jaguars from bottom 5 in the league vs the run in 2024 to #1 in 2025. Plus he speaks the universal language of BA! I’m in on this guy. Definitely a get him early before he becomes the top head coaching candidate in next year’s cycle.

Needing another year or two of experience seems about the worst plan for this franchise, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Whilst that would be nice, the problem is if any of these promising offensive talents actually perform here as OC they are more than likely 1 and done as someone will take them as a HC the following year. That's why I would prefer a Offensive minded HC, keep a clear consistent message for whatever young QB we may draft this year or next.

This forum doesn't understand "one dimensional"...that's why everyone bagged on JB so bad. He only won one game; he's just a backup QB and can't win. Well, duh...NO RUN GAME= ONE DIMENSIONAL. Ours was due to injuries as opposed to the defense stopping the run..
Sorry, some that Stout stuff must have infected my keyboard..

Fingers crossed that we don't get a HC until every other team gets their HC. Then every day it will be, the Cardinals did this or did that. No mention of the Cowboys, the media just wants to talk about Arizona. This thread will set records. :)
