How a team leaves determines a lot. That doesn't keep people in the area who grow older and get an interest in the sport from holding the same grudges though. New potential fans are growing up everywhere. Having the closest access to a team usually creates fans,

It's an interesting dilemma. I suspect older fans pass their view onto their children. Of course there are newcomers too.

My thought, the primary loyalty remains with the original franchise name for a team, example the Seattle SuperSonics.

We need Arizona Coyotes fans to join the discussion.

I hope that arena in Utah burns to the ground.

The guy who bought them also pumped tons of money into the political campaign that killed the Tempe arena. But hey... the voters of Tempe got to preserve their landfill!

And there is the answer.

Now, if we could only get a new version of the Arizona/Phoenix Coyotes.

Tyrese Maxey could be eligible to sign a 5-year, $389M extension, should he make two of the next three All-NBA selections, per

.$77M per year… NBA money is different

No basketball player deserves this much, supermax needs to go away but I guess this is incentive for players. Organizations should be able to see that this is a franchise killer with the new cba.

He's been in the nba for 6 years now. The first 3 were meh, and then he had to become the focal point of the offense. His % are mediocre too. He is currently making 40M. The 76ers won 45 games last year in the east. SMH

I guess I have some catching up to do.

Never knew there was a Peach Jam High School basketball championship.

Kennard is obviously a downgrade from Allen, he is a less versatile scorer and less of a defender. Of course, at the same time we got (at least) a significant upgrade in Bridges over O'Neale while inflated our future unprotected pick into a 2027 late 1st rounder.
Is he really that much of a downgrade? Is his defense really that bad? Based upon what? Kennard looks like he works really hard on D just like Allen.

It isn’t obvious to me.

Yes.

Allen’s problem was heath. When heathy he’s a better player than Kennard by miles. Heck, he’s better than Bridges, but he can’t stay healthy.

The only thing Kennard does wellis make 3s at a high percentage, but he doesn’t take enough for that to make much of an impact.

Allen made more threes per game than Kennard attempted.

TRENDING: During 2019 free agency, Kawhi Leonard and his team reportedly requested several illegal incentives from ex-Lakers’ owner Jeanie Buss.

Jeanie immediately informed Kawhi’s uncle and agent, Dennis Robertson, that these demands violated the NBA's CBA, Buss rejected them and made it clear they breached league rules.

Insane.

I didn't say that much, I said it is an obvious downgrade. Allen is a more versatile scorer, a more well-rounded player and a better defender, you can check his DWS and OWS at basketballreference.com, but I think that every other advanced metrics support the eye-test.
Kennard tries in defense, but he is close to a non-existant defender, I hope that we can hide him in defense when the 2nd units plays and other teams' playbooks and benchscorers will not target his vulnerability.

I'd rather have Highsmith and Dunn. Kennard is just Insurance
