The New York Knicks booked their first appearance in the NBA Finals since 1999 as they completed a 4-0 series sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks, chasing a first title since 1973, eased to a comfortable 130-93 victory in game four – their 11th consecutive victory in the play-offs.
Karl-Anthony Towns had 19 points and 14 rebounds, with OG Anunoby adding 17 points, as the Knicks shared the scoring around the team with their starters taken off early in the fourth quarter.
The Knicks will face the San Antonio Spurs or reigning champions Oklahoma City Thunder, who are tied at 2-2 in the Western Conference Finals.
