New Orleans Saints announce inactive players for Week 16 vs. Jets

The New Orleans Saints and New York Jets shared their lists of inactive players for Week 16's game at the Caesars Superdome. And the Saints are missing some star power -- running b ack Alvin Kamara was previously ruled out with knee and ankle injuries, as were a couple of his blockers in right guard Cesar Ruiz and backup right tackle Asim Richards.

But a couple of players who were listed on the injury report are suiting up and ready to go. Defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd and safety Justin Reid will be back in the starting lineup despite dealing with a couple of injuries, and wide receiver Mason Tipton is playing after missing two days of practice with an illness. Unfortunately, the Saints had to shut down both rookie running back Devin Neal and breakout wide receiver Devaughn Vele after they were banged up a week ago. Here's the full list:
