New Denver Broncos tight end Dallen Bentley's upside is tremendous. Especially considering the circumstances he is coming off from his 2025 campaign with the Utah Utes. Bentley essentially played with one hand, as he played with a broken finger for most of the season, according to the Denver Post's Luca Evans. He did not miss a catch in his best collegiate season, according to PFF.

Bentley is excited to begin his new body of work with the Broncos. ("I'm) super excited," Bentley, the second-to-last pick in the 2026 NFL draft, said in a post-selection conference call. "It was definitely a little bit suspected, but it’s always a surprise. I’m just super excited.”

Bentley is committed to bettering his craft as an NFL tight end. He knows his work ethic put him in the position to be drafted. "Really, I think just getting to work (led me to get drafted)," Bentley said. "Coming in every day ready to work as hard as I can, finding those little things of improvement and doing that consistently. You’re right, it’s not just a one-time thing, but doing it over and over again, I think that’s probably the biggest thing.”

One thing is for sure: he believes he is not too small for the moment. "It doesn’t matter when or where you get drafted or undrafted, you just have to make the most of every opportunity,” Bentley said.
