So I'm watching a football life on the NFL network, they profiled the offensive line from the 90s cowboys. Its amazing how much easier a dominate offensive line can make the game. The reason the Cowboys had so much success this year is because they stopped asking Romo to do everything.

We got a YOUNG core in Veldheer, Iuapati and Massie. I'm honestly on the fence with Cooper hindsight is 20/20 but he was the highest rated guard to come out in a long time. I pray this kid stays healthy and it clicks but im not willing to wait on him as far as in concerned right guard and center are up for grabs.

For me Cam Erving from FSU is the clear cut choice for 24 he flat out dominated at center and he's a great athlete. You draft him and let him stay there for the next 10 years. Lael Collins is a left tackle but most have him moving to guard in the NFL just a flat out road grader with crazy long arms and strength for days. I think is another option.

I really dont want the 6th best pass rusher. I think the big guys up front on defense are going to be gone as well Shelton, Brown and Armistead.

I think it has to be O line. Some second round guys I like Laken Tomlinson or AJ Conn maybe Ali Marpet in round 3

No problem taking Irving. He could start not only at center but also at RT in place of Massie.

He's the guy I'm hoping we draft. Cooper would be the weak link on the line and he has massive upside. Potentially best line in the NFL if you draft Erving. I wouldn't blink if he were there.

Finito, I agree with your 'take' on the OL vs. pass rusher. However, while I don't remember names but I did read that in last year's draft, the sixth (about) rated pass rusher put up the best sack numbers. Too often we put too much credence into how the so called experts rank players.

Really nice job Finito----I am totally with you on drafting Cam Erving. He would VERY SOON become our Center for a decade. Cooper, at that point becomes the weak link on our O-Line (and he has massive upside). Larsen (our best guard this past year) would compete with Sendlein and Ervin for Center, and with Cooper and Watson, (La'el Collins if we draft him later) for the our weakest guard position. That's not a bad position to be in. Even if we pass on Collins we are light years ahead of 2014.

Very good point.

I want an OLBer or Oline in the first round. If a monster Dlineman falls to us then sure draft the value. Feed the trenches, feed them.

erving when he played tackle was terrible to be honest, dont get why this love for the player.maybe if he just someone start to make his name ,other people jump in his bandwagon even without watching him play.
btw there are better offensive lineman prospect in round 1

Erving wouldn't be my first choice but I'd be okay with him.

He pretty much had a second round grade at LT. He's a 3 year starter at LT and was first team all ACC the last two years. I think your the one who hasn't seen him play. He might not have been Jonathan Ogden but he most definitely was not terrible. There's a lot of good left tackles that move inside when they get to the NFL. He moved inside his senior year and flat out dominated as much as any center in recent memory.
