Nebraska football will host class of 2027 edge defender Chris Kasky later this month. The three-star prospect will visit Lincoln from June 12-14.

Kasky is from Illinois and ranks as the 69th overall edge defender and the 28th overall player in the state of Illinois, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He was originally scheduled to visit Illinois that weekend but canceled and scheduled a visit with the Huskers.

As it stands, the defender has a sizable offer sheet. He has been offered by Missouri, Iowa, Michigan State, and Indiana. He currently has a 75% confidence rating for Missouri, a prediction made by Greg Smith on Sunday.

Nebraska's class of 2027 ranks 17th in the country, according to the Rivals' Industry Rankings. The class itself has 11 commitments in total.

This is certainly a recruitment worth watching. Nebraska may be on the outside looking in here, but the weekend visit could be a chance for them to flip Kasky in their favor.
