Nebraska football flipped a commit on Sunday morning, picking up its first edge rusher in the 2027 recruiting class. Rusher Ma'atoe Moe announced on social media that he is committing to Nebraska.

This comes one week after Moe verbally committed to Minnesota following his official visit. But after an official visit to Lincoln, he made the flip, becoming the 16th commit to Nebraska's slowly growing class. He chose the Huskers just one month after receiving an offer from them.

Moe lists himself at 6-foot-4, 245 pounds, entering his senior year. He played in only five games in his junior season at Timpview High School after transferring, but still finished with 17 total tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack. He received his first college offer from BYU right before his sophomore year.

Moe is ranked 93rd among edge rushers in the country and 15th among players in Utah, according to 247Sports Composite. He still holds other notable top offers from BYU, Boise State and San Diego State. He is one of five commits Nebraska already picked up this June.
