Nebraska baseball came in 21st in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. This represents a three-spot jump from the 24th last week.
The Huskers had a successful weekend, taking care of business against the Iowa Hawkeyes. They swept Hawkeyes over the weekend, culminating in a perfect 15-0 home record. This marked the first time since joining the Big Ten that they went undefeated at home.
They currently sit at 37-14 with a 20-7 record in the Big Ten. The season is coming to a close, and Nebraska will take on Creighton on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT. They will then play their final regular-season series against Minnesota from Thursday, May 14, to Saturday, May 16.
Overall, this has been a successful regular season for the Huskers, and they are riding high with the Big Ten tournament set to begin in short order.
