GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The 2026 North Carolina High School Basketball Playoffs are officially here as the NCHSAA released the postseason schedule and the teams that will be fighting for a state title.

Below are a list of eastern North Carolina schools in there respective division with information on seeding, opponent and a full bracket.

1A Boys: Vance Charter was selected as a top seed, while Northside will be a 3-seed, North Edgecombe is a 4-seed, and Wilson Prep was selected as a 6-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

1A Girls: Falls Lake Academy was awarded a top seed, with Wilson Prep getting a 2-seed, Bear Grass Christian was selected 4-seed, Northside will be a 6-seed, and Washington County got the 7-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

2A Boys: Northwest Halifax got a top seed, Bertie County nabbing a 5-seed, Edenton Holmes was selected as a 6-seed, and Tarboro was given a 6-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

2A Girls: Pamlico County will be the top seed, with Gates County being selected as a 3-seed and North Duplin getting a 7-seed. All of these teams were given byes

3A Boys: Farmville Central got the top seed, with Kinston being selected as a two-seed, Martin County got a 4-seed, Goldsboro was given a 5-seed, and James Kenan was selected as an 8-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

3A Girls: Kinston was selected as the top seed, with James Kenan getting a 3-seed, Greene Central selected as a 5-seed, and Wallace-Rose Hill getting the 8-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

4A Boys: Reidsville was chosen as a top seed, with Washington grabbing a 2-seed and Southwest Edgecombe being selected as a 6-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

4A Girls: T.W. Andrews was given a top seed, with Southwest Edgecombe getting a 6-seed and East Duplin grabbing an 8-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

5A Boys: Southeast Alamance was selected as a 1-seed, with Fike being chosen as a 2-seed, Hunt nabbing a 4-seed, and Croatan going into the playoffs as a 6-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

5A Girls: Southeast Alamance was also selected as a top seed, with Rocky Mount getting a 2-seed and Croatan getting the 3-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

6A Boys: Northern Nash was given a 1-seed, while J.H. Rose getting the 2-seed, and White Oak was selected as a 6-seed. All of these teams will get byes.

6A Girls: Terry Sanford was selected as the 1-seed, and Swansboro was nabbed as a 6-seed. Both of these teams will get byes.

7A Boys: Southern Durham was chosen as a 1-seed, while New Bern was given an 8-seed. Both of these teams. D.H. Conley was given the 22-seed and will be on the road in the first round against 11-seed Heritage. South Central was selected as the 23-seed, and they will have a first round matchup against 10-seed Riverside-Durham.
