The transfer portal for college basketball is officially open now that the national champion is over. Even before the 15-day window began, several in-state players announced their intention to enter the portal.
Here are the in-state players at the Division I level who are on the move (will be updated):
The 6-3 Almodovar, a 2023 Indiana All-Star out of Noblesville, played his first two seasons at NAIA Saint Francis before going on to average 14.1 points and 3.7 rebounds at SEMO this season and earn first team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors. The 6-3 guard shot 31.6% from the 3-point line but had five games of at least four made 3s.
The 6-5 Arnold, who committed to Tennessee Tech on Sunday, was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year this season after leading the league in steals at UIndy. Arnold averaged 11.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.9 assists per game as a full-time starter. The former Ben Davis star was also the Defensive Player of the Year in the East Coast Conference at St. Thomas Aquinas in 2024-25. Tennessee Tech is a Division I program in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The 6-2 Bell averaged 12.2 points a game and 5.0 rebounds a game as a sophomore for Army in the 2025-26 season. He played in just three games as a freshman in 2024-25.
The 6-9 Bidunga, the defensive player of the year in the Big 12 Conference as a sophomore, put his name in the portal for the second consecutive year and plans to declare for the NBA draft, while maintaining his college eligibility. The 2024 Indiana Mr. Basketball averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game this season.
The 6-4 guard led the team as a freshman, averaging 13.0 points per game and 2.7 rebounds. He averaged 12.2 points in 13 games as a sophomore in an injury-shortened season. Booher committed to Eastern Michigan.
The 6-foot Burton was Mr. Basketball out of high school in 2023 after he finished his high school career with 2,273 points. He averaged 30.3 points as a senior. Burton played three seasons at Notre Dame, but his junior year was cut short due to an ankle injury. He played in just 10 games. Burton averaged 19.1 points and 3.8 assists in 69 career games.
The 6-3 guard, a state champion as a senior at Jeffersonville last year, averaged 13.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists as a freshman at Wright State and helped the Raiders to an NCAA Tournament appearance. Cooper shot 35.6% from the 3-point line. He figures to be one of the most highly-sought guards on this list.
The 6-2 Dancler was a star player at Southport, scoring a program record 1,456 points. He averaged 19 points, four assists and four rebounds as a senior. Dancler played his first two seasons at LeMoyne, leading the team in scoring as a sophomore at 15.1 points per game and shooting better than 40% from the 3-point line. He averaged 16.0 points and shot 39.9% from 3 at Coastal Carolina.
The 6-2 guard from Franklin, an Indiana All-Star in 2024, played in 32 games as a sophomore at IU Indy, averaging 9.4 points and 2.9 assists. Davis averaged 10.3 points per game in Horizon League play. Davis played his first season at Eastern Kentucky, appearing in 13 games off the bench and scoring 54 points. Shot 31.3% from 3 for IU Indy.
The 6-5 guard played at Carmel through his junior season before transferring to Southern California Academy, where he averaged 16.0 ppg, 7.0 apg and 3.0 spg as a senior and was ranked as a top-50 national prospect. Dual played at Providence as a freshman, Seton Hall as a sophomore and McNeese State as a junior. He averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds last season and was named to the Southland Conference all-defensive team.
The 6-5 guard started 14 games for the Jaguars, averaging 11.6 points and a team-high 5.6 rebounds per game. Edwards averaged 12.6 points and 6.1 rebounds in Horizon League games, including 23 points and 10 rebounds in the league tournament loss to Robert Morris. Edwards played Murray State as a freshman, Valparaiso as a sophomore and St. Bonaventure as a junior (he played just five games due to injury).
The 5-11 guard is attempting to get another year of eligibility after averaging 8.8 points and 2.1 assists this season at Idaho State. He shot 34.7% from the 3-point line. Etchison started out at Western Michigan from 2021-13, then played at Marian, averaging 22.8 points in 2023-24 before having season-ending surgery the following season. Etchison played in just 11 games as a sophomore at Western Michigan due to injuries.
The 6-7 Haralson was one of the top recruits in the country coming out of high school, earning McDonald's All-American honors as a senior at LaLumiere. He averaged 16.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists as a freshman at Notre Dame, earning honorable mention honors in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Haralson, who played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Fishers, originally committed to Notre Dame over Indiana and Michigan State.
The former Brebeuf standout, a 2024 Indiana All-Star, averaged 7.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists as a sophomore at Butler, shooting 36% from the 3-point line. The 6-4 guard played in 23 games as a freshman, averaging 2.1 points per game.
The 6-4 King started eight games and played in 29 for the 22-11 Skyhawks. King averaged 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds as a freshman. King scored 1,402 career points at Anderson, averaging 22.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.4 steals as a senior.
The 6-5 Mitchell started 31 games as a freshman for the Jaguars, ranking second on the team in made 3-pointers (11.8 ppg) and leading the team in made 3-pointers (83) and steals (42). Mitchell averaged 20.3 points and 5.8 rebounds as a senior at Zionsville.
The 6-9 Orme was a second-team all-Missouri Valley Conference selection after averaging 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists, shooting 39.7% from the 3-point line this season. Orme averaged 9.5 points and 4.3 rebounds as a freshman and shot 37.5% from the 3-point line.
The 6-4 Pardon, a 1,000-point scorer at Carroll, played in nine games in 2024-25 as a freshman, totaling 24 points. He did not play at all this season due to injury. Pardon was a three-time all-conference selection in high school.
The 6-2 guard and former Lawrence North star will have his share of suitors. Robinson started 15 games (played 22 total) before a left wrist injury ended his season. He averaged 6.1 points, 2.5 assists and 1.9 rebounds as a freshman, shooting 43% from the 3-point line. Robinson is the all-time scoring leader in Lawrence North history.
The 6-8 Singleton, a state champion last year at Jeffersonville and finalist for Mr. Basketball, averaged 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game as a freshman for Northwestern. Singleton's departure comes as a bit of a surprise. He started 31 games for the Wildcats and was considered a big part of the future for Northwestern.
The 6-10 Tupuola was the only Valpo player to start all 33 games this season. He averaged 6.4 points and 5.8 rebounds and ranked fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference in blocked shots (1.3). He played two seasons at NAIA Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, averaging 14.5 points and 12.2 rebounds as a sophomore in 2024-25.
The 6-3 Windham, a state champion as a junior and Indiana All-Star as a senior in 2024, averaged 5.6 points and 2.0 assists in 29 games as a freshman at Northwestern. Windham saw his playing time sliced as a sophomore and averaged 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 14 games.

Jaxson Bell, North Central (Army)
The 6-2 Bell averaged 12.2 points a game and 5.0 rebounds a game as a sophomore for Army in the 2025-26 season. He played in just three games as a freshman in 2024-25.
