NC State reportedly hiring Justin Gainey as men's basketball coach

NC State is hiring Tennessee assistant Justin Gainey to replace Will Wade as men’s basketball head coach, according to multiple reports.

Gainey, 49, was associate head coach on Rick Barnes’ staff at Tennessee for the past four seasons. He played for the Wolfpack from 1996 to 2000.
