Two-time NBA Champion Chris Bosh has warned Victor Wembanyama about a health condition they both suffer from that could cost them their lives.
Wembanyama missed most of his second season in the NBA with DVT, which could cause potentially life-threatening health scares for the 22-year-old superstar.
After Bosh recently suffered a near-death situation due to his issue with blood clots, he issued a sombre warning to Wembanyama to ensure his career or life isn’t cut short due to this health condition.

In an interview with HoopsHype, the 42-year-old Hall of Famer, who had to retire in his mid-30s because of his blood clot issues, hoped Wembanyama could avoid the same fate by being on top of the illness.
“Take your medicine. Make sure that he’s staying on top of his regimen to make sure that doesn’t happen again because it only takes one more time. It happened one more time for me, it happened twice, and I couldn’t play anymore.”

Wembanyama is known to be a stickler for his routine and takes extra care of his 7’5″ frame to have the durability required for a long and successful NBA career.
With the impact blood clots can have not only on his career but also on his life, it’s hard to imagine the French center isn’t doing everything in his power to keep his blood clots at bay.
An early retirement or anything worse would make Wembanyama one of the biggest what-if stars in NBA history, and he clearly wants to cement his legacy on the court and not in hypotheticals.
Hopefully, Bosh continues to avoid major life-threatening issues from his issues, and Wembanyama does the same while also being able to play his full career rather than get sidelined before he even enters his prime.
