The NBA on Sunday unveiled the seven reserve players from each conference to complete the rosters for the 2026 All-Star Game on Feb. 15 in Inglewood, California.
The starters, which were voted on by fans, a media panel and players, were unveiled on Jan. 19 in a special announcement on NBC and Peacock. The fans accounted for 50% of the vote, while the media and players each comprised 25% of the final group.
The 30 head coaches in the NBA voted on the seven reserves in each conference. Each coach selected two guards, three frontcourt players and two additional players from any position, but they were not permitted to choose players from their own team.
With the 12 All-Stars in each conference now known, Rookie Wire examined some of the biggest snubs after the announcement of the reserves on Sunday.
In the All-Star Game this year, two teams of players from the United States and one team of international players (known as the World team) will compete in a round-robin tournament with four 12-minute games. Each team will have at least eight players.
Team A will play Team B in Game 1. The winning team from Game 1 will take on Team C in Game 2 and the losing team of Game 1 will meet Team C in Game 3. After Game 3, the two teams with the best records will advance to face each other in the championship game.
The teams will be announced on Feb. 3 on Peacock (7 p.m. EST).
