Alabama basketball needs Taylor Bol Bowen against Arkansas, but the status of the Florida State transfer forward remains undetermined as tip-off nears.
Crimson Tide coach Nate Oats gave an update on Bol Bowen's status the day before the Feb. 18 game, and it was a slightly more positive report than the one given ahead of the South Carolina game that he was sidelined for.
"Taylor's kind of day-to-day," Oats said. "He didn't practice yesterday at all. Today, we did a real light practice and he went through parts of it."

Bol Bowen left the Florida game with a leg injury. At that time in early February, he had already played in multiple games while recovering from a hand injury.
"We'll see how he's feeling tomorrow. It'll be great to get him though because we need some length and athleticism in this game," Oats said.
Through 20 games, Bol Bowen is averaging 7.2 points and 5.2 rebounds over approximately 20 minutes per outing.
The Alabama-Arkansas game starts at 6 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum. Official updates on Bol Bowen's status will be provided in SEC availability reports on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and ahead of the game.
