Nashville SC looks to remain unbeaten against teams from the Western Conference when it heads west to take on the Seattle Sounders.
Nashville (4-3-1, 13 points) is coming off a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake on April 12. It's made one trip to Seattle in its history, winning 2-0 at Lumen Field in 2022, and has never lost to the Sounders in three games.
For the second straight game, Nashville will be without defender Walker Zimmerman, who suffered a concussion in a loss to Charlotte FC on April 5. Zimmerman is still working through concussion protocol. In his place, Nashville — which is tied for the third fewest goals allowed in MLS with eight — will rely on Jack Maher and Jeisson Palacios on the back line.
Seattle (2-3-3, nine points) finished fourth in the Western Conference last season and reached the conference finals, losing to the eventual MLS Cup winners, the LA Galaxy. The Sounders have not lost at home this season, with one win and two draws at Lumen Field.
