After an unconvincing performance in its first game out of the World Cup break, Nashville SC will look for improvement at home against CF Montreal.
Nashville (11-1-3, 36 points) hosts Montreal at 7:30 p.m. CT on July 22 at Geodis Park. It's looking for its fifth straight victory, which would result in its longest winning streak of all time in MLS play.
Shak Mohammed scored in the 79th minute as Nashville beat Atlanta United 1-0 on July 17 in its first match in six weeks, helping the team remain in first place in the Supporters' Shield standings.
Montreal (4-8-3, 15 points) tied Toronto FC 0-0 on July 16 to open the second half of its season. Nashville hasn't lost to Montreal since 2023, and won at Geodis the past two seasons by a combined score of 7-1.
