NASCAR heads to Naval Base Coronado near San Diego for the first time for the Anduril 250 on June 20.
The 3.4-mile street course weaves around a U.S. Naval base and along the San Diego bay.
The third road-course race of the season takes place ahead of a trip to Sonoma next week.
Shane van Gisbergen is the favorite, but Tyler Reddick, Ty Gibbs, Connor Zilisch and others have shown speed on road courses this year.
Here are The Tennessean's expert picks for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Naval Base Coronado:
Everyone knows Shane van Gisbergen will win at the new street course in San Diego, so picking him is easy. The only challenge is selecting a driver who can give SVG a run for his money. So I’m going with Reddick, who is hungry for his sixth win of the season after being runner-up last week at Pocono.
SVG. Road course. End of explanation.
