The NASCAR Cup Series competed at Richmond Raceway, and it was a major victory for a Team Penske driver. Joey Logano and the No. 22 team won the 2026 Cook Out 400 at Richmond, earning their second victory of the 2026 Cup Series season. However, did Logano and the No. 22 car pass post-race inspection at Richmond?

Logano's No. 22 car passed post-race inspection and won't require a trip back to the R&D Center, NASCAR announced on Saturday night. It was an impressive victory for Logano, who was able to hold off a hard-charging Chase Briscoe after passing Christopher Bell on a different strategy.

While Briscoe had the best car in the closing laps, Logano didn't make a major mistake to hand him the victory. It was a very impressive run for the driver of the No. 22 car, who now sits ninth in the points standings. Logano is rising in the standings, as he pursues his fourth Cup Series championship in the fall.
