Napoli ready for new Lindstrom loan to Schalke 04
Multiple reports confirm Napoli are very close to agreeing Jesper Lindstrom’s loan to Schalke 04, after his previous experience at Wolfsburg.
The Denmark international struggled to make his mark in Italy following the €30m plus add-ons transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023.
He flopped badly in his first season, failing to contribute a single goal or assist in his 29 competitive games.

Official: Jesper Lindstrom joins VfL Wolfsburg on loan with an option to buy from Serie A side Napoli.
The winger was then was sent out for a series of loan spells at Everton and Wolfsburg, but it was never able to translate into a permanent move.
Now Lindstrom would seem to be on his way back to the Bundesliga again, because Sky Sport Italia and Sky Sports Deutschland both confirm that he has agreed personal terms with Schalke 04.
It is going to be another loan, and it remains to be seen if there will be an option to make it permanent attached or not.
This is a tricky situation for Napoli, because he is only under contract with them until June 2028.
