Win now. Trading a pro bowler for the best defensive player in the league while Stafford has 1-2 years left
Some teams don’t run on hopium. Verse has 12 career sacks…Garrett had 23 sacks last year. In fact, Garrett has only had two seasons in his career with less than 12 sacks.

It’s what big boy organizations do.

The Cards are not in it to win. It’s a financial endeavor for the PV Hillbillies.

Yeah they trade away a good young pass rusher but they get when healthy as good a defensive player as there is in the whole league so definitely a win now move.

Curious now to see if Seattle wants a blockbuster deal or if they think they're still better than the Rams.

Rams better hope Stafford stays healthy. If he gets injured, don't think they will make it to the Super Bowl.

Seriously?

So you’re saying that getting Garrett is bad?
Not at all…. I’m just wary in general of players on the wrong side of 30. With known injury history don’t care how good they are and he’s the best guy on the defense in pretty much all of football. I’m more curious how the salary Cap implications shake out because unless I’m mistaken, Garrett is under a huge contract. Don’t trades typically accelerate to the team trading the asset away?
