Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham has alluded to the possibility of adding another player. Some thought that it could be safety Myles "Ghost" Rowser. But that doesn't appear to be the case.
Rowser, who spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons at ASU, announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on his social media accounts.
Rowser, like many other NCAA athletes who started their careers in 2022, has been given an extra year of eligibility courtesy of a court ruling. Rowser played one year at Campbell, one at New Mexico State, and was in Tempe for the last two seasons. He has a combined 317 tackles, with 182 coming in his two years in Tempe.
He was not selected in the NFL draft, but did get a mini-camp invite from the Seattle Seahawks.
The thought that he could return to ASU was heightened when the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder alluded to a possible return on social media after the announcement, with the proclamation: "Ghost always comes back to haunt."
But the most recent posting would seem to indicate a return would not be to Tempe.
