Just to let you know. The red and white practice IS NOT A GAME OR SCRIMMAGE.

Is that practice outside or inside? That makes a big difference in the answer.

Anyone know?

Regardless of whether it is indoors or outdoors:

- Go to azcardinals.com and print off the latest roster, otherwise you wont know who the new players are. No names on the jerseys. Usually they have those available at the merchandise stand, but the last 2 days they did not.

- Get there about 45 minutes before the listed start time. Even though the listed start time is 9:15, the players will start to arrive at 8:45 and do informal drills before the horn blows to signify the official start.

- Bring bottled water or your non-alcoholic beverages of choice and snacks if you want. I would bring a small cooler to outdoor practices and they don't care and bottled water is $3 for a small bottle if you don't.

If it is outdoors:

- Sunscreen
- Umbrella (unless there is zero chance of rain)
- Binoculars
- Folding chair (They do have limited bleacher seating, but I imagine that will fill up pretty quick)

I also have a secret tip that Shane shared with me, and I'll tell you via PM but I don't want to advertise it :)

Definitely do this. I went the first day and there were no roster sheets like they had the previous year I was there. I wound up writing players' numbers down, going back to my hotel and looking them up after practice. Wasn't horrible, but it would have been better to know who was who while practice was going on.

They had them on Sun, and I got one, but not on Day 3 or 4.

For the most part, the Cards are doing great with training camp, but they messed up with the rosters and no black jerseys for sale on the outdoor fields.

Seriously, I was hit up by 4 NAU business students to take a survey of the economic impact of Cards in Flagstaff, but they can't hire an intern to make some copies???

LOL.

Yeah, didn't realize the Sun had them. Guess I am still a neophyte (only my second time).

If you are looking for a cool bar to hang at, check out Maloneys. I saw a few Cards players there the first night. (They were good and went home early.) Not sure how many will be out and about now that camp is really under way.
