This game, for many of us, is a tough pill to swallow. The Cards had this game. They could taste it, we could taste it, even Detroit could taste it.
Boldin had an outstanding game. It would have been perfect if not for one play. We all saw it. After that Detroit was back in this game. The crowd came back which brought the team back. True, there were other times before, but the momentum switch after that play which resulted in a touchdown was HUGE!
Other Negatives:
Our clock managment was horrible. When your running back, not your quarterback, calls for time out then somethings wrong. I don't think I need to mention special teams. Just fix it!
Some Positives:
Jeff Blake took responsibility for his mistakes. That's nice for a change. He also had a decent game. 3 TD's to 1 INT is a hell of alot better than our old OB's numbers yesterday. But I guess a win is all that matters. Me, I'll take Blake over Plummer any day.
Boldin is the steal of the draft! 'Nuff said.
Emmitt still has it. He just needs more than 13 carries to do it.
