SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – The Sioux City Musketeers announced a few trades they made this week involving picks and players.
First up, the Muskies traded a 2028 Phase I sixth-round pick for a left-shot defensman in Zach Spagnuolo from the Chicago Steel, who recorded three points on one goal and two assists last season.
Next, the green and gold gang claimed goalie Will Keane from the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for forward Jake Tavares. This pick-up adds depth between the pipes for Sioux City after spending his last season as the primary backup, collecting a 6-8 record with the Jacks.
Last but not least, the Muskies also traded future considerations to the Waterloo Black Hawks for rookie defenseman Danny Browning, who scored 30 points on three goals and 27 assists in his last high school season.
